'Requiem' in Athene

On April 8, 2026, a concert by renowned Georgian composer, conductor, and pianist Vakhtang Kakhidze took place in Athens. During the concert, his famous work “Requiem” was performed, which is dedicated to the memory of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.
⚜️The concert was held at the Stavros Niarchos Hall, featuring the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra, the Georgian State Choir Capella, and soloists.
⚜️The evening was attended by the Minister of Culture of Georgia, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps.
